Organized by SerNet GmbH, verinice.XP - the conference for information security and data protection around the open source tool verinice - will take place on February 28, 2024. The digital event is aimed at IT decision-makers, security managers and data protection officers and offers insights into current topics. The 2024 program
Paul Weissmann (OpenKRITIS, Insignals GmbH) and Dr. Marian Corbe (RST Informationssicherheit GmbH) will open the conference with "NIS2 and KRITIS umbrella law - challenges for companies and authorities". They will discuss the effects of the NIS2 implementation and the KRITIS umbrella law on the regulation of critical infrastructures in Germany. Other highlights include the presentations on the "Standard Data Protection Model 3.0 and verinice", which focus on the ongoing evaluation of technical and organizational measures in data protection, as well as "KRITIS Wastewater: Implementation with verinice" and "WiBA - Your tool for basic protection".
On the day before the conference, February 27, workshops will complement the verinice.XP program. Participants will have the opportunity to delve deeper into specific topics and learn from the experts. On offer this year:
