The SNIA Developer Conference (SDC) is a renowned industry event for developers and experts in the field of storage technologies. It will take place again in September 2026 in Santa Clara, California, and offers in-depth technical sessions, practical insights and networking opportunities around modern storage solutions. SerNet will be represented with its own booth for the open source software SAMBA+, as well as with technical presentations in the conference program.

The it-sa Expo & Congress in Nuremberg is Europe's leading trade fair for IT security solutions and a central industry get-together for experts, providers and decision-makers in the field of cybersecurity. SerNet will be attending in 2026 for the 17th year in a row and will be presenting its open-source solution verinice for information security management. Whether ISMS according to BSI standards or ISO 27001 – verinice supports organizations of all sizes in implementing their security requirements. You can find us in Hall 7, Booth 116!

The Storage Server Network (S2N) is one of the most important trade events for storage, server, and network technologies in the German-speaking world. The conference will take place on November 3 and 4, 2026, in Berlin and has been a regular fixture on the SerNet team’s calendar for several years.

SerNet is represented in the conference program with two technical presentations: Volker Lendecke from the Samba team will present “Samba 2026,” providing an overview of the latest developments surrounding Samba. Thomas Schröder from the Secure Infrastructures division will demonstrate in his presentation “Proxmox VE for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses” how modern, reliable virtualization environments can be implemented with manageable effort and without complex licensing models.
