Memberships in leading IT associations

In its history, SerNet has been a member of a variety of associations, including the Linux Association and other early organizations in the open source scene. 

Currently, SerNet is a member of Bitkom and TeleTrusT, the most important associations for the IT security and IT industry in Germany. SerNet is also involved in the Linux Foundation and Linux Foundation Europe, both of which promote the further development of open source technologies, collaboration between industry, science, and the community, and digital sovereignty.

Through its membership in DENIC and DFN, SerNet has prioritized access to DE domains and fast Internet connections.
